Appointments
- Measure your child’s weight, height and body mass index and record on a growth curve.
- Review your child’s school performance and development.
- Discuss exercise and nutrition.
- Review safety issues.
- Parents and/or Guardians will receive a text message with a check-in link 5 to 7 days before their child's appointment.
- Please take a few minutes to complete the online form, including your child's current health & insurance information,
BEFORE arriving at our office for your child's scheduled appointment. - This allows your provider time to review it, so they can effectively care for your child.
-----------------------------------------------
- To help provide appropriate care to our patients, we require that EACH CHILD who needs to be seen has a scheduled appointment time prior to arrival.
- Northern Virginia traffic can be challenging. Please allow plenty of time for travel to our office, as well as for parking and getting little ones out of carseats. UNFORTUNATELY, if you arrive at our office front desk more than 15 minutes late, we will need to help you reschedule your child's appointment. When possible, we try to make it the same day, which might mean seeing another provider.
- If your child has a persistent cough or a fever, they will need to wear a mask when in the TPG Pediatrics offices.
- Otherwise, masks are OPTIONAL in our offices.
We appreciate your help and your understanding.
IF THIS IS A LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCY, IMMEDIATELY CALL 911!
If you have any questions regarding a medical concern or medical forms, please call your home office directly.

Scheduled Appointments
To keep your child healthy, it is important to bring them in for regular Well Child Visits. We recommend that you call your child's home office 3 - 5 weeks in advance, so you may select a date and time that works best for you, as well as choosing the provider you would like your child to see.
Appointments such as sports physicals, well child checks, medication checks, etc. can be made either by
calling your child's home office, or texting #APPT to 703-481-8600. Please remember that
each child who needs to be seen must have an appointment.
Telemedicine offers the opportunity to have an appointment with our providers from home, using your computer or smartphone!
Well Check Schedule
Did you know regular well child visits are one of the most important things you can do to keep your child healthy? Preventive care promotes healthy growth and development. Well child visits also provide you with the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s health.
Your child should have a well child visit at the intervals. We recommend that you call our office 3 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs.
Same Day Sick Visits
Please call your child's home office the day that your child needs care. Each of our offices has a number of appointment times reserved for accommodating same day sick visits.
When you call our office before coming, we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting. If you would like us to see more than one child, please let us know that when you call, so that we can schedule them. Without an appointment, we might not be able to see a sick sibling at the same time, and we may need to ask you to sit in our waiting area or return later in the day.
Monday through Friday -
Our first appointment is at 8 am, however we answer our phones
beginning at 7:30 am
for Same Day Appointment Requests.
Same Day Sick Visits (Saturday)
Two of our offices are open on Saturday mornings, for same day sick appointments. These are for established patients for ANY of our offices, who are at least 4 months of age. Please call your home office between 8:30 AM and 11 AM on the day your child needs care.
Minor Emergencies
If you have a minor emergency during regular office hours, please call your child's Home Office. The triage nurses will be happy to help you discern if the problem can be assessed and treated by our providers, or if they need to refer you to the closest urgent care or emergency room.
